Convergentware Travel Technologies Announces Multi-Year Direct Distribution Agreement With Air Canada

Toronto, Ontario November 03, 2008 — Convergentware Travel Technologies, a leading travel technology company, announced today a multi-year direct distribution agreement with Air Canada, using the airline’s ac2u direct connect API. This agreement will provide Convergentware customers with guaranteed access to Air Canada’s full range of products, integrated with other travel content in a consolidated, simple display.

All travel agencies will be able to use Convergentware’s web based agent tool, Convergent Pro, to sell and service all of Air Canada’s unique fare products in a timely and efficient manner, including Tango fares, a la carte attributes such as paid advance seat selection, and the full range of Air Canada’s award winning Flight Passes.

Convergent Pro is a complete reservations management platform that brings together multiple sources of travel content into an integrated display and provides simplified workflows for booking, ticketing and servicing. In addition, it offers agencies the flexibility of connecting to their existing profile management and back-office systems, or using the independent systems incorporated in the Convergent Pro application. Convergent Pro is an easy to use and compelling solution for travel agencies searching for productivity gains and improved efficiency.
